Why NVIDIA Jetson Leads Edge AI Platforms
High-Performance Edge AI Compute
Jetson modules integrate NVIDIA GPU architectures with CUDA, TensorRT, and cuDNN to deliver server-class AI performance in a compact, power‑efficient form factor. This enables real-time inference for complex vision, speech, and sensor fusion workloads directly at the edge.
End‑to‑End AI Software Stack
With the NVIDIA JetPack SDK, developers get a fully integrated stack: Linux for Tegra (L4T), CUDA, cuDNN, TensorRT, DeepStream, and container support. This dramatically reduces integration time compared to generic ARM boards or discrete accelerator cards.
Power‑Efficient, Deployment‑Ready Modules
Jetson platforms are optimized for performance‑per‑watt, enabling fanless, compact, and rugged designs. Compared to x86 + GPU solutions, they deliver significant reductions in power, thermal footprint, and BOM complexity for edge deployments.
Scalable Portfolio from Prototype to Production
From Jetson Nano to AGX Orin, the family offers a consistent software stack and pin‑compatible modules, allowing teams to start small and scale up compute without rewriting applications or redesigning the full system.
Industrial‑Grade Reliability & Security
Jetson offers long‑term software support, industrial SKUs, secure boot, and hardware‑accelerated security features, making it suitable for production deployments in regulated and safety‑critical environments.
Rich Ecosystem & Developer Community
A large ecosystem of SDKs, pre‑trained models, partner solutions, and an active developer community on NVIDIA Developer and GitHub accelerates time‑to‑market versus less mature edge AI platforms.

Remote Intelligent Operation TZTEK
Unmanned ground vehicles operating in the field sometimes need to be taken over remotely by human drivers due to unexpected exceptions. In these situations, the video streams from the vehicle are transferred to the remote intelligent operating simulator through LTE or 5G Internet. The human driver observes the video streams and manipulates the steering wheel, providing a safe and controllable operation system. NVIDIA Jetson’s powerful video encoding ability, together with the strong DeepStream SDK and NVIDIA CUDA® acceleration toolkit, make the remote take-over and real-time remote driving easier with low latency.

Autonomous Tractor John Deere
On farms, labor is always a challenge. But due to changes in weather patterns, labor is heavily needed only for a short period of time. A few years ago, Blue River Technologies began exploring commercial opportunities for autonomous vehicles that use computer vision technology fueled by the NVIDIA Jetson TX2. After the initial success of creating See & Spray machines, they were acquired by John Deere and continue innovating with new Jetson products. In CES 2022, they revealed a fully autonomous tractor with six pairs of stereo cameras, powered by Jetson AGX Xavier, to detect, identify, and make real-time management decisions about each plant in the field.

Robotic Beehive Beewise
Bees are an integral part of the global infrastructure of farming. In fact, 30% of global food supplies are pollinated by bees. Unfortunately, about 35% of bee colonies have been collapsing annually for the past few years. Beewise develops an autonomous beehive that monitors the bees 24/7, identifies their needs, and applies treatment in real time, in the field. With the help of precision robotics and AI, every hive has its own beekeeper, 24/7, without any human intervention. In Beewise’s robotic hive, bees survive, thrive, produce honey, and pollinate much more effectively.
“Beewise provides a comprehensive solution to digitizing beekeeping and pollination, supported by hardware, software, and AI. However, we consider our solution as “software wrapped in tin”: the hardware is meaningless without the AI orchestrating everything. This is why our dependency on the Jetson is so strong; there was no other solution in the market that allowed us to save bees, at scale, in such a powerful yet cost-effective manner.”
- Saar Safra, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Beewise
- Reduces colony collapse from 35% in the industry to less than 8% in Beewise devices
- Yields increase by at least 50% in terms of both pollination and honey production
- Saves 90% manual labour compared with traditional hives (the 150-year-old-wooden-boxes) and manages the efficiency of all AI projects.
